Get Fit For 2010: Challenge 12, Inner Me Is Reaping the Benefits

It is week 12 - the final week - of our Get Fit For 2010 giveaway . This week’s challenge is to share your results from three months of healthy living. FitSugar reader hickje01 was hoping to look better but never expected she’d feel better and be healthier too! I must confess that when I started off on this quest for a fitter, healthier me in 2010 . . . my focus was geared towards healthy eating and exercise. I didn’t really consider the other aspects of my body and lifestyle that might change with this new regimen. However, when I visited the doctor the other day, she reported that my resting heart rate was 47 beats per minute which aligns with levels reserved for well-trained athletes! I was sort of shocked? I know I have been working hard but never had I considered how much my body was benefiting from my new endeavors. Last night, I took a little more time to reflect and realized that my skin has been clearer, my mood brighter and so many other aspects of my life have felt the “trickle down” effect of my triumphs

Welcome to the fourth annual PopSugar 100 ! We’re so excited to kick off voting, and we need your help determining who’s had the biggest and best year in Hollywood! Just as in 2009, it’s a single-elimination tournament style with a bracket to help us narrow down the perfect list. We picked 128 celebrities and divided them into four groups, which were then ranked from 1 to 32. The stars were next paired up in head-to-head matches, and now we need you guys to vote on who you think had the more exciting twelve months. Whoever wins will go on to the next round and so on until we have the Sweet 16, Elite 8, Final 4 - and then all the way to the winner! The first round kicks off today, and we have two weeks until half of the crop is eliminated. You can start by clicking on any pair of names and working your way through the entire bracket. Also, it’s easy to pick up where you left off at any time. After round one is completed, each subsequent round will last one week. And if you needed extra incentive to join the fun, there’s a chance for those who play to win an amazing Chanel purse! Restaurant to Move Menu Prices Based on Demand

Restaurant to Move Menu Prices Based on Demand

Out-on-the-towners in Manhattan have a new reason to pay attention to the stock market: the new Exchange Bar & Grill plans to move food and beverage prices according to demand. A traditional Wall Street ticker will flash menu prices as they change, making it the ideal date spot for econ nerds. Here’s more : Customers can move prices for all beverages and bar snacks such as hot wings ($7 for 6 pieces) or fried calamari ($9). The prices will fluctuate in $.25 cent increments, but will most likely plateau at a $2 change in either direction. A glass of Guinness starts at $6 but could be pushed to a high of $8 or a low of $4, depending on popularity. The owners freely admit the stock exchange theme is a gimmick, but hope the good deals will fill the bar. The shtick reminds me of the diner that pulled in big business once it adopted a no pricing policy . Are you eating it up?
