Continued from “August 2009 Food Diary+ Workout Schedule”
Sept 1 Tuesday- walk the dog 1 hour, go to the “Yorkville Club” to do Al’s 1 hour cardio class, then a 1 hour Hatha Yoga class, after go to Yada Hair salon to do some highlights
Breakfast: hot cereal w/ Vega protein powder Chai Vanilla flavor, decaf coffee w/ skim milk
Lunch: Protein shake from the gym between classes
Snack: 10 almonds, Liberte plain yogurt w/ blueberries and Agave, decaf capp at Yada
Dinner: chicken w/ salad and corn on the cob, 1/2 glass of red wine
Desert: skim milk w/ coco and Agave
Sept 2 Wednesday-walk the dog 1 hour, go to gym to do Grants 1 hour cardio class, then guac took me to get my eyebrows plucked/ threaded. WoW it hurt
Breakfast: hot cereal w/ Vega protein powder Chai Vanilla flavor, decaf coffee w/ skim milk
Lunch: yogurt w/ protein powder and blueberries, Starbucks decaf coffee w/ skim foam
Snack: salad w/ feta and tomatoes
Dinner: chicken w/salad
Desert: skim milk w/ coco and Agave
Sept 3 Thursday- walk the dog 45 minutes, go to High Park-for the Best Leash photo shoot- beautiful day!
Breakfast: Bob glutten free hot cereal w/ protein powder, decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: n/a
Snack: tomato w/ olive salad and 1 Mohito at Dimi
Dinner: At Amber , shared mushroom pizza, chick pea fries, crab quesadilla , 2 glasses of Shiraz
Sept 4 Friday- walk the dog 45 minutes, go to the Yorkville Club to do Grants 1 hour fun low impact cardio class
Breakfast: Bob glutten free hot cereal w/ Vega vanilla chai protein powder,skim milk, 1 tspn brown sugar decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: tomato, olive, onion and feta salad
Snack: Liberte plain yogurt w/ 1 scoop of Vega vanilla chai Protein powder, 1/2 cup of blueberries
Dinner: went to Edo for sushi had , spicy tuna, sushi pizza, avocado salad w/ sesame dressing
Desert: Guac mad home made rice pudding [ so good], and a slice of Loblaws cake
Sept 5 Saturday- gorgeous day!!!!! walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast: Bob glutten free hot cereal w/ Vega vanilla chai protein powder,skim milk, 1 tspn brown sugar decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: decaf coffee w/ skim foam and cinnamon , 2 hard boiled eggs, 1 piece of 70% dark chocolate
Snack: yogurt w/ 1/2 scoop of protein powder
Dinner: going to a party on the island- 20 assorted nuts, tomatoes w/ basil, baked potato w / sour cream, Caesar salad, 2 glasses of red wine, bread w/ butter
Desert: chocolate cake
Sept 6 Sunday- walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast: 2 crepes w/ maple syrup and lemon, decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: yogurt w/ protein powder
Snack: Loblaws white cake, coffee crisp [ mini]
Dinner: Tai food, chicken, shrimps, rice, mango salad, spring roll, 1/2 glass of red wine
Desert: Loblaws white cake
Sept 7 Monday ‘Happy Labor Day’ -walk the dog 1 hour- took the day off from the gym
Breakfast: Bob glutten free hot cereal w/ Vega vanilla chai protein powder,skim milk, 1 tspn brown sugar decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: leftover Tai food
Snack: Loblaws white cake, popcorn
Dinner: salad, bite of steak, 1 glass of red wine
Desert: Loblaws white cake, rice pudding, 2 mini coffee crisp
Sept 8 Tuesday- walk the dog 45 minutes, go to gym ” Yorkville Club” do Als very hard cardio class[ extra hard after a long weekend of cake and wine]
Breakfast: Bob glutten free hot cereal w/ Vega vanilla chai protein powder,skim milk, 1 tspn brown sugar decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: Whole Foods, Quinio + salmon
Snack: 10 almonds
Dinner: went to Cantine had salad w/ grilled chicken, had 1 bite of BF’s burger didn’t like it cause it had blue cheese[ thats the only cheese I don't like]
Desert: skim milk w/ coco and Agave
Sept 9 Wednesday- walk the dog 1 hour, go to gym do 1 hour cardio class, 1 hour acuball class
Breakfast: Bob glutten free hot cereal w/ Vega vanilla chai protein powder,skim milk, 1 tspn brown sugar decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: chicken w/ kamut and bok choy
Dinner: Harbour 60 5 year anniversary Party- had some steak, shrimp, cheese, crackers 2 .5 glasses of red wine
Sept 10 Thursday- walk the dog 1 hour, go to Yoga class but it got canceled.
Breakfast: Bob glutten free hot cereal w/ Vega vanilla chai protein powder,skim milk, 1 tspn brown sugar decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: salmon, w/ quinio and bok choy
Snack: crackers w/ hummos
Dinner: arugula salad, rice pasta w/ garlic and olive oil, 3 shrimps and rice from Chinese Food takeout.
Desert: skim milk w/ coco and Agave
Sept 11 Friday- walk the dog 1 hour, go to the gym to do grants 1 hour cardio dance class
Breakfast: Bob glutten free hot cereal w/ Vega vanilla chai protein powder,skim milk, 1 tspn brown sugar decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: arugula salad, curry chicken from Whole Foods
Snack: strawberries, decaf coffee, mini 2 bite chocolate cupcake from Whoke Foods
Dinner: Went to Christines on the Danforth, had feta, olives, hummus, pita, spinach, chicken salad, 2 glasses of red wine
Sept 12 Saturday - walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast: Bob glutten free hot cereal w/ Vega vanilla chai protein powder,skim milk, 1 tspn brown sugar decaf coffee w/ skim, 2 bites of a chocolate croissant
Lunch: strawberries w/ yogurt, 1 scoop of protein powder
Snack:
Dinner: went to a wonderful dinner party, started off w/ brie cheese + crackers, fish, roasted root vegetables, potatoes, 2.5 glasses of red wine
Desert: bread pudding w/ peaches and plums w/ lots of whip cream
Sept 13 Sunday- walk the dog 1 hour ” cheat Day” it should be called guilt free eating day- cheat day seems to be everyday
Breakfast: 2 fried eggs w/ chives, basil + tomatoes, w/ Ezekiel bread, decaf coffee w/ skim
Snack: popcorn w/ parmesan
Lunch: falafel
Dinner: going to Ang Bd party- had lasagna, guac, chips, 2 glasses of red wine, smarties and birthday cake. Today was a fat day!
Sept 14 Monday-walk the dog 1 hour, go to gym to do Hatha Yoga class
Breakfast: Bob glutten free hot cereal w/ Vega vanilla chai protein powder,skim milk, 1 tspn brown sugar decaf coffee w/ skim,
Lunch: salad w/ feta and cherry’s
Snack: dried cherries and walnuts
Dinner: salad w/ smoked chicken, goat cheese, avocado, pecans from Highway 61
Desert: skim milk w/ coco and Agave
Sept 15 Tuesday- walk the doggies 1 hour we were babysitting an 11 week old Shitzu/ Bijon we walked for an hour then he peed in the house 3 X. LOL went to the gym to do a Hatha Yoga class
Breakfast: Bob glutten free hot cereal w/ Vega vanilla chai protein powder,skim milk, 1 tspn brown sugar decaf coffee w/ skim,
Lunch: arugula, w/ leftover smoked chicken, pecan and feta
Snack: walnuts w/ dates
Dinner: went to Gio Ranas The Nose to celebrate RB belated birthday- had tomato + avocado salad, shrimp + haddock, 2.5 glasses of red wine, 1/2 brownie- everything was delicious
Sept 16 Wednesday- walk the dog 1 hour, go to gym to do Grants 1 hour dance cardio class
Breakfast: Bob glutten free hot cereal w/ Vega vanilla chai protein powder,skim milk, 1 tspn brown sugar decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: arugula salad w/ chicken, red pepper and feta
Snack: I will try not to have one since I am going to my fave restaurant at 5:30 and I ate lunch at 2:00PM
Dinner: went to Soto Soto had tuna, pepper salad, bite of rice pasta, 2 glasses of red wine, chocolate cake
Sept 17 Thursday- walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast: Bob glutten free hot cereal w/ Vega vanilla chai protein powder,skim milk, 1 tspn brown sugar decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: salad w/ chicken, feta and red pepper
Snack: chocolate chip cookie w/ decaf coffee
Dinner: Guac made sheppards pie [ so good], green salad and pepper feta salad, 2 glasses of red wine
Desert: why oh why do I love desert so much? cupcake w/ butter vanilla icing, and home made fruit pie by my BF w/ fresh whip cream
Sept 18 Friday - walk the dog 1 hour, go to Yorkville club to do Grants 1 hour cardio class[ I was so tired due to a stray barking dog we took in last night, good news we found the owner on the lost and found Humane Society page]
Breakfast: Bob glutten free hot cereal w/ Vega vanilla chai protein powder,skim milk, 1 tspn brown sugar decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: Janele came over we had salad w/ chicken and feta, shared a cupcake and some tea
Dinner: went to Judy + Rogers for Rosh Hashanah , had fish, chopped liver, Chala, chicken soup, chicken, salad, carrot latkaes, poppy seed cake, 2 glasses of kosher shiraz red wine[ good]
Sept 19 Saturday- walk the dog 1 hour [ had the worst allergies today]
Breakfast: french toast with gluten free bread, not great not bad- satisfied the craving w/ maple syrup and decaf coffee w/ skim milk foam
Lunch: ? I can’t remember
Snack: chocolate chip cookie
Dinner: brown rice pasta w/ olive oil, sun dried tomato, Caesar salad
Desert: pie w/ whipped cream
Sept20 Sunday- I walked the dog for 20 minutes, then I went to the Nike store and tried a run clinic very cool, it is FREE and you run with a team leader at your pace. I ran 5k in 40 minutes which might not be great but it was my first time running so I was very HAPPY.
Breakfast: oatmeal w/ protein powder, decaf coffe w/ skim
Lunch: left over brown rice pasta
Snack: Greek salad
Dinner: went to Dimmi, shared a pizza, tomato salad and 2 glasses of Shiraz
Sept 21 Monday -walk the dog 1 hour, go to the Yorkville Club to do a 1 hour Yoga class
Breakfast: Bob glutten free hot cereal w/ Vega vanilla chai protein powder,skim milk, 1 tspn brown sugar, decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: Greek salad w/ chicken breast
Snack: walnuts [ 8] dried cherries, raspberries
Dinner: salad w/ 2.5 slices of whole wheat pizza
Desert: licorice tea, 1 chocolate chip cookie
Sept 22 Tuesday- walk the dog 1 hour, legs are so sore from the run on Sunday. Went to the Nike store and did the run clinic at night, ran 5k in 32 minutes- It was hard and humid out. I could NOT have done it with out Mike, he ran beside me the whole time and encouraged me. I felt great after ward.
Breakfast: Bob glutten free hot cereal w/ Vega vanilla chai protein powder,skim milk, 1 tspn brown sugar, decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: whole wheat pasta w/ olive oil and parm
Snack: yogurt w/ protein powder and raspberries
2nd snack before run: small piece of chicken, handful of walnuts and dried cherries
Dinner: came home from the run, my BF met me outside to tell me he made me a beautiful dinner, salad, w/ brown rice and steak all sliced up, then we went in the house to find the dog ate the steak. LOL, it is NOT funny but my BF left it on the coffee table. so I made 2 hard boiled eggs w. tomatoes and feta
Desert: skim milk w/ coco and Agave
Sept 23 Wednesday-walk the dog 1 hour, go to Yorkville Club to do Grants 1 hour cardio class, then marla’s acuball class
Breakfast: Bob glutten free hot cereal w/ Vega vanilla chai protein powder,skim milk, 1 tspn brown sugar, decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: can of salmon w / brown rice and hot sauce
Snack:walnuts and dried cherries, skim milk w/ coco and Agave
Dinner: turkey slices, whole wheat pizza. went to a gold party sold some silver had a glass of red wine, cheese + crackers, some fruit and chocolate covered almonds
Sept24 Thursday -walk the dog 1 hour , do a Hatha yoga class
Breakfast: Bob glutten free hot cereal w/ Vega vanilla chai protein powder,skim milk, 1 tspn brown sugar, decaf coffee w/ skim, walnuts w/ dried cherries
Lunch: protein shake at the Yorkville Club
Snack: 3 slices if turkey breast w/ Dijon mustard
Dinner: go to “Le Petit Castor” with Molly for sure have a Mojito they make them the best! I had a Mojito, had 1.5 glasses of really good cab sav. halibut, warm olives, beet goat cheese salad. Everything was so good.
Sept 25 Friday- walk the dog 30 minutes, do Grants 50 minute cardio class
Breakfast: Steel cut oatmeal w/ skim milk, 1 tspn brown sugar,granola, raspberries, decaf coffee w/ skim, walnuts w/ dried cherries
Lunch: 2 slices of cheddar cheese while I made Jeff and Molly grilled cheese, I had 1/2 a apricot chicken wrap from Whole Foods
Snack: decaf ice coffee
Dinner: salmon w/ tai mango salad
Desert: skim milk w/ coco and Agave
Sept 26 Saturday ” Cheat Day”- walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast: Quinio w/ skim milk, 1 tspn brown sugar,granola, raspberries, decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: Mexican lasagna made by Guac- so delicious
Snack: 1/2 chicken wrap, popcorn, cheese straw
Dinner: Greek salad
Desert: blueberry soup pie w/ fresh whip cream, decaf chai tea
Sept 27 Sunday walk the dog 30 minutes, go to the NIKE store and do the 5 k RUN
Breakfast: protein shake
Lunch: pancakes and grilled cheese
Snack: 2 more whole wheat pancakes w/ maple syrup and a drop of whipped cream
Dinner: Arugula salad+ leftover Greek salad
Sept 28 Monday- Yom Kippur ‘pouring out’- walk the dog 45 minutes, to busy packing to go to the gym today
Breakfast: decaf coffee w/ skim, 2 pieces of rye toast w/ almond butter and jam, bowl of granola w/ almond milk
Lunch: chick pea, tomato and feta salad
Dinner: 2.5 glasses of red wine, peppercorn cheese and crackers, goat cheese w/ caramelized onions on filo, risotto made by Janelle delicious!
Sept 29 Tuesday- Las Vegas- walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast: quinio flakes w/ granola, agave, decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: w/ guac she brought BBQ chicken + red wine [ I had 1 glass] and I mad a chick pea, spinach, tomato and feta cheese salad, banana bread and licorice tea
Dinner: will be on the plane- I should pick up a sandwich at the airport- denied access no dinner, had a glass of red wine. Got all the appropriate documents to go tomorrow.
Sept 30 Wednesday- go to airport 6:00 am
Breakfast: decaf coffee w/ homo milk, yogurt, bran muffin
Lunch: Las vegas Whole Foods salad, hang out by pool
Snack: RB leftover Whole Foods salad
Dinner: Red Rock Casino, Hachi Sushi, had, coconut soup- so good, crab rolls, edaname, chicken 2 glasses of red wine- everything was delicious.
