According to the makers, the naturally sweetened mint is safe and shaped for comfort during insertion. But as our own visiting sex expert Dr. Charlie Glickman explains to Mother Jones , the mint contains sugar, which is not safe for the vagina. Thus, the manufacturers cover their tails by saying that the potentially dangerous mint is for “novelty use only.” So I guess it’s just supposed to be funny - are you laughing?
