December 2009 Food Diary and Workout Schedule

Continued from Nov 2009

Dec 1 Tuesday- walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast: 2 pieces of toast w/ cheese, decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: some healthy muffin that for some reason I put margarine on it- it was really dry, decaf coffee w/ cream
Snack: bean soup
Dinner: by KF salmon. shrimps, scallops, rapini and beans, 2.5 glasses of red wine, Oreo cookies and chocolate covered almonds
Dec 2 Wednesday- walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast: 2 pieces of toast w/ cheese, decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: tuna on whole wheat
Snack: cookies
Dinner: went to Cantine had salad w/ chicken, 3 glasses of red wine, Oreo cookies, chocolate covered almonds
Dec 3  Thursday- walk the dog 1 hour go to TYC and do a 1 hour yoga class
Breakfast: 2 pieces of toast with almond butter and jam, decaf coffee w/ skim, Greek yogurt w/ honey
Lunch: Karyn made the most amazing squash soup- recipe coming soon
Snack: yogurt w/ protein powder, cookies
Dinner: went to Dimmi had pizza, pasta, salad, bread and olive oil and 2.5 glasses of red wine
Dec 4 Friday- walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast: 2 pieces of toast w. almond butter and jam, 2 cups of decaf coffee
Lunch: 1/2 grapefruit, soup and crackers
Snack: cookies
Dinner: tomato + yellow pepper , feta salad, rice pasta w/ sun dried tomato, olive oil, and parm
Desert: cookies, 4 Oreo cookies and 4 ginger cookies, then some pop corn. WHY can I not stop eating? Maybe it is the change in the weather I have been so hungry!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dec 5 Saturday- walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast; decaf coffee w/ skim. 2  hard boiled eggs, 1 toast w/ cheese
Lunch: cereal w/ banana, 1 toast w/ almond butter and jam
Snack: cookies
Dinner: went to Spuntini w. Jeff had  grilled chicken breast and veggies, 1 glass of red cab Chilie wine, came home had more red wine and chocolates w/ Karyn
Dec 6 Sunday- walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast: 2 pieces of toast w/ almond butter and jam, 2 cups of decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: yogurt w/ granola
Snack: shrimps and couscous, 4 ginger couscous
Dinner: roast chicken by Jen [ recipe coming soon], spinach salad, 2.5 glasses of red wine, apple pie crumble

Dec 7 Monday- walk the dog 1 hour- it was freezing!
Breakfast: 2 pieces of toast w/ almond butter and jam, decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch:  squash , carrot, ginger soup that KF made- so good!
Snack: more soup
Dinner: rice pasta w/ olive oil, spinach and garlic, tea w/ cookies, chocolate covered almonds
Dec 8 Tuesday- walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast: 2 pieces of toast w/ almond butter and jam, decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: KF famous soup, w/ home made corn bread
Snack: cookies w/ tea and honey
Dinner: Mexican lasagna by Guac, salad, cookies
Dec 9 Wednesday- walk the dog 1 hour in the wet, rainy, snowy, slushy day
Breakfast: 2 pieces if Ezekiel bread w/ almond butter and jam, 2 decaf coffee w/ skim, 1/2 grapefruit
Lunch: leftover Mexican lasagna w/ spinach
Snack: cookies
Dinner: BBQ chicken from Loblaws w/ potatoes, and green beans, cookies and tea
Dec 10 Thursday walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast: Ezekiel bread w/ almond butter and jam, decaf coffee w/ skim, pineapple
Lunch: Mexican lasagna
Snack: Ezekiel cereal w/ banana
Dinner: spinach salad w/ goat cheese, brocolini, chicken  breast encrusted w/ nuts by KF, 2 glasses of  red wine, cookies and chocolate covered almonds
Dec 11 Friday walk the dog 1 hour, go to TYC and do Grants 1 hour low impact aerobic class[ its been weeks since I worked out wow its amazing how hard it is to get back on track- its so cold out I just want to eat]
Breakfast: 2 pieces of toast w/ almond butter and jam, decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: rice pasta w/ spinach
Snack: tea and cookies
Dinner: rice pasta w/ chicken, spinach, red peppers, tomatoes, black licorice, meringue cookie
Dec 12 Saturday- walk the dog 1 hour - freezing out.  I think I figured out why people make NYE resolutions because when it gets cold out we start eating more then by Jan, one feels disgusting and starts to do something about it. GRRRRRRRR

Breakfast: 2 fried eggs w/ 2 cups of decaf coffee w/ skim and 2 pieces of toast, cherry tomatoes

Lunch: chicken soup, cheese and crackers
Snack: tea and cookies, 1 orange
Dinner: brocolini, small piece of steak and more cookies
Dec 13 Sunday- walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast: 2 fried eggs, 2 toast w/ cheese, tomatoes and decaf coffee w/ 1%
Lunch: bagels, lox and cream cheese, fresh OJ
Snack: tea and cookies, black licorice
Dinner: 2 glasses of red wine, spinach salad w/ goat cheese and pomegranate seeds, bread and olive oil w/ rosemary
Dec 14 Monday- walk  the dog 1 hour, go to TYC do the treadmill during Oprah and do a little upper body weights before hand
Breakfast: oatmeal, decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: 2 hard boiled eggs. 2 pieces of toast w/ almond butter
Snack:  squash soup by KF
Dinner: squash soup, bread and olive oil, 2 glasses of red wine, 2 chocolate chip cookies
Dec 15 Tuesday- walk the dog 1 hour, go to TYC and to do the treadmill for 1 hour, then stretch for 5

Breakfast: oatmeal w/ granola, decaf coffee w/ skim

Lunch: 2 hard boiled eggs, 2 pieces of Ezekiel bread toasted w/ almond butter
Snack: OJ
Dinner: hors d’oeuvres at Liz’s w/ 2 glasses of red wine, came home and had rice crispy type squares mad e by KF and 2 chocolate chip cookies
Dec 16 Wednesday- walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast: 2 hard boiled eggs, 2 pieces of toast w/ almond butter, decaf coffee w/ almond milk
Lunch: tuna wrap from TYC- so good
Snack: tea and cookies, acai juice
Dinner: mmm good, lasagna, spinach salad by Janelle, 2 glasses of red wine, then dropped by KB had some chocolate chip cookies and crackers w/ goat cheese
Dec 17 Thursday -walk the dog 1 hour, go to TYC and do a Hatha yoga class
Breakfast: oatmeal w/ granola and almond milk, decaf coffee w/ almond milk
Lunch: squash soup and Greek salad
Snack:  decaf coffee
Dinner: Greek salad and brown rice pasta w/ spinach, glass of red wine, then chocolate bd cake for Jades BD
Dec 18 Friday- walk the dog 1 hour, was feeling a little achy so I didn’t go to the gym
Breakfast: 2 pieces of toast w/ almond butter, decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: hard boiled egg, Greek yogurt w/ honey, tea w/ honey
Snack:
Dinner: squash soup, leftover brown rice pasta w/ tomato sauce, decaf tea w/ honey and almond milk, 1 giant chocolate chip cookie
Dec 19 Saturday- walk the dog 1 hour- feeling a little under the weather still decided better not to go to the gym
Breakfast: 2 pieces of Ezekiel toast w/ almond butter and jam, tea w/ honey and almond milk
Lunch: soup, w/ crackers, ginger tea w/ 2 cookies
Snack: yogurt w/ granola and 1/2 banana
Dinner: cheese + crackers, decaf tea w/oatmeal cookie
Dec 20 Sunday- walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast: Greek salad, had brunch w/ rents, omelet w/ cheese, spinach, mushrooms,  sweet potato fries, decaf coffee
Lunch:
Snack: crackers, tea w/ cookies
Dinner: 1/2 chicken breast on spinach / w/ a little Greek salad, 1 glass of red wine and a cookie for desert
Dec 21 Monday- walk the dog 1 hour, do the treadmill 1 hour
Breakfast: 2 pieces of Ezekiel toast w/almond butter, tea w/ honey
Lunch: yogurt w/ protein powder,granola and strawberries
Snack:
Dinner: Greek salad w/ chicken, tea and 3 ginger cookies, small piece of chocolate w/ ginger
Dec 22 Tuesday- walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast: 2 pieces of toast w/ almond butter, decaf tea w/ honey
Lunch: yogurt w/ granola, strawberries and 1/2 a banana
Snack: black bean dip w/ rice crackers, 1 orange
Dinner: omelette  w/ spinach, mushrooms and cheese, chicken soup, tea w/ honey
Dec 23 Wednesday- walk the dog 1 hour, go food shopping for Christmas
Breakfast: oatmeal w/ granola, decaf tea w/ honey
Lunch: chicken soup
Snack: omelette w/ spinach, cheese, mushroom and onion
Dinner: shared salmon, salad at Cing 01 had 2 glasses of red wine and a mint tea
Dec 24 Thursday- Christmas Eve- walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast: 2 pieces of toast w/ almond butter and decaf coffee
Lunch: granola w/ berries and yogurt
Snack: cheese and crackers
Dinner: Christmas Eve dinner party- turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, desert, cakes and chocolates, red wine + baileys
Dec 25 Friday “Merry Christmas”- walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast: 1 pumpernickel bagel w/ cheese and almond butter
Lunch: granola w/ yogurt
Snack: cookies and tea
Dinner: brown rice pasta w/ olive oil, spinach salad
Dec 26 Saturday- walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast: 2 pieces of toast w/ almond butter, decaf coffee
Lunch: rice pasta w/ spinach
Snack: orange, crackers
Dinner: chicken breast, arugula salad, white chocolate cake for desert, mmmmmmmmmmm why does desert have to be so good?
Dec 27 Sunday- walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast: 2 pieces of toast w/ almond butter, decaf coffee
Lunch: hard boiled egg, cake for desert, glass of almond milk
Snack: crackers, gluten free, dried mango slices, diet Pepsi
Dinner: Greek salad, grilled chicken breast, decaf tea and cookies
Dec 28 Monday- walk  the dog 1 hour, go to TYC and do treadmill for 30 minutes, and squats, lunges for 20
Breakfast: decaf coffee w/ 2%, 2 pieces of toast w/ almond butter
Lunch: late- 2 pieces of chicken w/ Franks hot sauce
Snack: Greek salad
Dinner: steak, roasted root vegetables, diet Pepsi, decaf tea
Dec 29 Tuesday- walk the dog 1 hour, go to TYC and do the treadmill for 1 hour, legs are killing from lunges and squats yesterday. Try Al’s class at TYC at  noon Mon + Tuesdays if your serious about getting in shape.
Breakfast: 2 pieces of toast w/ almond butter, decaf coffee w/ almond milk
Lunch: protein bar
Snack: chicken breast w/ hot sauce, and 2 cups of bean soup
Dinner: 1/2 turkey burger, broccolini
Dec 30 Wednesday- walk the dog 1 hour, go to TYC to do Grants low impact cardio class- too bad I can barely walk from doing the squats and lunges on Monday
Breakfast: oatmeal w/ protein powder, granola, decaf coffee w/ almond milk
Lunch: 2 hard boiled eggs, 2 pieces of toast w/ cheese
Snack: rice cakes, yogurt
Dinner:  BBQ chicken, yellow potatoes, mushrooms and spinach salad
Dec 31 Thursday Happy New Year- walk the dog 1 hour
Breakfast: oatmeal w/ granola, decaf coffee w/ skim
Lunch: chicken w/ hot sauce
Snack: shrimps, crackers w/ cocktail sauce
Dinner: cheese and crackers, 1 sushi, nuts, chocolates, 2.5 glasses of red wine
